A Strange and Wonderful Place

Buzzing, whirring –
Clock hands spinning
Like carousels, horses –
Galloping, clods of
Dirt developing dusts endless.
Endless like charcoal
Ruined socks, angry
Families – passive aggressive
Escape from reality
Strange and wonderful
And strange and angry
Just wasps and Morse code
Of JUSTICE.
Developing, denying –
Friendships begin where
Amusement parks end
Our lives are tea cups,
Twirling around endlessly
Going nowhere
Also, everywhere.
We tell our fortunes,
The tea leaves like
Art galleries – pseudo
Artistic everything. Strange place.
